The word Islam is a statement that says the name comes from the triliteral root slm, and derived from the Arabic grammar aslama, which is intended "to accept, surrender or submission." Thus, Islam means acceptance of and subjection to God, and believers must demonstrate this by worshiping him, following his commands, and avoiding polytheism. These words give some meaning of the Qur'an. In some verses, the quality of Islam as a belief affirmed: "Whoever Allah wills will give him instructions, he certainly paved the chest to (embrace Islam) ..." Another verse linking Islam and Din (usually translated as "religion"): "... This day have I perfected for you your religion, and I'd had both ends My favor unto you, and I'd had it so ridhai Islam religion for you. ' But there are still others that portray Islam as an act of returning to God-more than just a faith attestation statement.
    
Basic beliefs of Islam can be found in two sentences shahādatāin ("two sentences testimony"), which is "an-laa ilaaha asyhadu illallaah, wa anna Muhammadan asyhadu rasuulullaah" - which means "I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ".
